Oregon Coast: A Coastal Journey Photography Workshop

8 Days – May 13th – 20th 2017

Join Dustin for an journey down the Oregon Coast where rugged seastacks, big open sand beaches, rocky lava cliffs meet the grand Pacific Ocean.

Minimum 3 students, Maximum 6 students.

The Oregon Coast stretches for over 360 miles. The scenic 101 Highway connects countless photogenic beaches and we will stop at the best of them: including Cannon Beach, Bandon Beach, Whaleshead Beach, Cape Kiwanda, and Seal Rocks. There will be many opportunities to photograph dramatic sea stacks, colorful moody skies, and of course Pacific Ocean wave action. This tour will be seascapes bonanza!

This Pacific Northwest region has a diverse range of coastal settings, ranging from pristine sand beaches, to rugged cliffs, and remote forests lining the sea. No single trip could cover all the fantastic conditions this region has to offer. However, the timing of the trip has been selected around the a dark sky period with ideal tides. As we travel farther south the destinations become more remote, and that gives us the opportunity to photograph the night sky (weather permitting). After we have had a chance to get familiar with the ocean rhythms we will put our skills to the test and visit the legendary Thor’s Well.

Tuition Cost: $1400

Deposit due to hold your spot: $200
